គ្រួសារជនជាតិចាមមួយ បានធ្វើដំណើរចុះតាមមាត់ច្រាំងទន្លេសាប ឆ្ពោះទៅកាន់ទូកដែលជាផ្ទះរបស់ពួកគេ។ សហគមន៍មូស្លីមនេះ បានរស់នៅក្នុងទូកតូចៗរបស់ពួកគេ ដែលមានទំហំមិនលើសពី ២ម៉ែត្រ គុណនឹង ៧ម៉ែត្រ។ ពួកគេរស់នៅលើទូក ពុំមានផ្ទះនៅលើដីគោកឡើយ។
ជនជាតិចាមទាំងនេះ បានប្រើប្រាស់ទូកជាមធ្យោបាយសម្រាប់គ្រប់សកម្មភាពប្រចាំថ្ងៃ ដូចជា ដាំ-ស្ល ដេក មើលទូរទស្សន៍ ព្រមទាំងការចិញ្ចឹមបីបាច់ថែរក្សាកូនចៅផងដែរ។ ដោយសារការរីកចម្រើនសេដ្ឋកិច្ចក្នុងរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ តម្លៃដីធ្លីចេញតែកើនឡើងឥតឈប់ឈរ ដូច្នេះ ពួកគេនឹងប្រឈមនឹងការឲ្យចាកចេញពីផ្ទះបណ្តោះអាសន្នតាមច្រាំងទន្លេទាំងនោះ។ ដីមាត់ច្រាំងទន្លេទាំងនោះ នឹងត្រូវអភិវឌ្ឍទៅជាដីសម្រាប់សាងសង់សណ្ឋគារ ឬជាទីកន្លែងសម្រាប់ទេសចរណ៍មកកំសាន្តវិញ។

A Cham’s family walks to their boat house from the bank of Tonle Sap River. This Muslim group live in a small boat size no bigger than 2x 7 meters. They live in the boat and no house on the land. They use their boat for most of their activities such as cooking, sleeping, watching TV, raise their kids etc. But for certain things they still need small land on the bank of river for their community. For example, the mosque is on the land or playground and other sports. However, one of the most important activities for their boat is fishing. They are going to fishing routinely in Tonle Sap River and the Mekong. As the land is more expensive and the blooming of Phnom Penh economy, they’re faced to leave their home.
